Rose Street was built between 1770-1781, mainly used at the time as 3 storey housing. Before long the street attracted Scotland’s leading writers and artists with its lively atmosphere and abundancy of pubs. Tucked away on the far end, The Shoogly Peg has stood its ground as a unique cocktail stop, becoming an integral feature of the ever-busy street.
